Ylang Ylang "Flower of Flowers"
Ylang Ylang Extra Essential Oil
Sweet, Floral, Soft and Exotic
Botanical name: Cananga odorata, Organic from Madagascar
Ylang Ylang is known as the Flower of Flowers and is associated with the planet Venus. In the tradition of botanical magic, its influences are said to be peace, love, and sensuality.
When you think of Ylang Ylang, you may think first of its aphrodisiac reputation, but it is also deeply calming and soothing for those with troubled minds. Its fragrance is known to ease stress, quiet anger, and soften negative emotional states, gently shifting the mood toward something more peaceful and open.
Wear it or inhale its aroma before stressful situations, a job interview, a difficult conversation, a busy day. Breathe in its soothing qualities and let them do their work.
There are five grades of Ylang Ylang, and the most prized is Ylang Ylang Extra, taken from the very first hour of steam distillation of the flowers. It is the most intensely floral and complex of all the grades.
